Welcome to the team!

ree

We love seeing our team grow at Safe Waters! Welcome aboard Lillian and Tanya, our new weekend support workers. Lillian is passionate about everyone having the right to be heard, so advocacy is one of her main priorities. When asked what drives her to help people, Lillian says "I'm passionate about everyone having the right to be heard, so advocacy is a priority". Lillian loves bushwalking, camping, nature photography and looks forward to sharing her interests with our guests.

Tanya is passionate about helping people and is excited to make a difference in peoples lives and help people to get to where they want to be. Tanya is excited about becoming a part of the Safe Waters team and when asked why whe joined her response was quick and to the point; "because this opportunity has given me the ability to make a difference in peoples lives and I hope to help people get to where they want to be".

With Lillians compassionate nature and Tanyas down-to-earth and can do attitude, we look forward to the positive difference you will both help make to our vulnerable community members in need.

This wouldn’t have been made possible without the help from the Office of Responsible Gambling and their generous grant. We cannot thank them enough as we now have our shelter open every day of the week!
